On November 28-29, 2022, Tashkent hosted the 4th Congress of Uzbekistan Pathologists with International participation.The event brought together more than 200 specialists not only from Uzbekistan, but also from Russia, India, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Korea and Spain. The congress was organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Pathoanatomical Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Medical Academy and the Association of Pathologists of Uzbekistan.

The congress united different specialties in multidisciplinary work: pathologists, oncologists, cytologists, etc. The event program included theoretical and practical parts. The main attention was devoted to topical pathology issues, reports were made by leading specialists in the field of oncodiagnostics

Histoscan digital pathology environment provides pathologists with options for safe storage and effective management of their digital micro and macro - images, as well as with access to medical images of other types. The participants were presented with a Histoscan portal that today unites more than 3,000 users from all over the world.

EPATH
EPATH macro-imaging solution enables pathologists to perform photo, video, and sound recording of a grossing procedure. EPATH can be integrated with the Histoscan 2.0 digital pathology platform and various LIS. EPATH fully supports pathologists at the stage of macroscopic examination of surgical biopsy and autopsy material during the grossing procedure. 

Special attention was paid to the Histoscan portal, which allows specialists of Uzbekistan get a second opinion from experts from all over the world quickly and easily.
